Traumatic Endodontics refers to the branch of dentistry that deals with dental trauma affecting the pulp and surrounding tissues of a tooth. Trauma to the tooth can cause injury to the pulp (the soft tissue inside the tooth), leading to inflammation, infection, or even the death of the pulp. Traumatic injuries often require special endodontic treatments, including root canal therapy, to save the tooth.
